At Brasserie Pinte de Saire, we don't just brew beer. Since we opened our doors in 2017, we have put all our mind and all our heart to work, selecting the best ingredients for our Chinquante. The result: tasty, elegant and authentic craft beers.
Three friends, in their thirties, decide in November 2017 to launch a craft brewery and offer their local beer. It will proudly carry the values of La Manche (50). The idea of "CHINQUANTE" is launched, its name refers to the department of Manche with a touch of Norman dialect. Its logo illustrates the famous Tours Vauban as a beer tap. One of the 3 friends has been a brewer from father to son for 6 generations to guarantee you the maximum amount of know-how inside a Chinquante.

25th august 2026: 330ml bottle form ID Stock. Pours a misty pale gold, small white head. Quite thin, light bodied, gentle floral character.. feels a bit deflated, weak malt base. Poor.

440ml can from the brewery. Pours a hazed yellow, large white head. Bought on sale from the brewery a few months out of date, smooth exotics, full mouth feel but definitely not fresh tasting. Probably cracking if fresh.

440ml can from the brewery. Pours a hazed gold, pure white head. Sugary floral sweetness dominates, doesn't really come across like a lager, certainly has a fuller body more associated with a hazy IPA, moderate ripened exotic fruit hop emerging.. generally ok

500ml can from the brewery. Drunk at our chalet in Cotentin. Pours a hazed gold, small white head. Lovely triple.. I'm guessing the brewers from our neck of the woods (59).. not too sweet, but sweet enough, medium bodied.. decent.

75cl bottle from ID Stock Hazebrouck. Cloudy gold pour with a tall proud white head. Prominent yeasty nose. Flavour profile takes a creamy bananery tangent.. smooth and balanced sweetness with a gentle bitterness. Really quite decent.
