At Brasserie Pinte de Saire, we don't just brew beer. Since we opened our doors in 2017, we have put all our mind and all our heart to work, selecting the best ingredients for our Chinquante. The result: tasty, elegant and authentic craft beers.
Three friends, in their thirties, decide in November 2017 to launch a craft brewery and offer their local beer. It will proudly carry the values of La Manche (50). The idea of "CHINQUANTE" is launched, its name refers to the department of Manche with a touch of Norman dialect. Its logo illustrates the famous Tours Vauban as a beer tap. One of the 3 friends has been a brewer from father to son for 6 generations to guarantee you the maximum amount of know-how inside a Chinquante.

Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a lasting beige head.
Nose is cocoa powder, brown bread, charr, light roasted notes.
Taste comprises brown bread, pine needle, dried fruit rinds, mellow roast.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying cloaked with earthy hop bitterness.
Not bad.

330ml bottle from ID Stock, Hazebrouck. Pours gold with a very fine mist, moderately sized white head. A little lagery malt-wise.. noticeable hop bitterness though no likeable hop character coming through. Not one I'd revisit.

330ml bottle. Pours an unclear gold, medium white head. Aroma of cereal malt, subdued blonde yeast. Nicely rounded blonde, balanced moderately sweet blonde character, fluffy pale malt, gentle bitter close.

Flesje gekocht tijdens vakantie en gedronken met Tomhendriksen. Donker amberkleurig bier met weinig schuim. Aroma van gebrande mout en pruim. Smaak is licht zurig, fruitig en iets hoppig. Nasmaak is een beetje bitter.
