12 oz bottle given to me by my Mother in law for Christmas. Pour is a clear light golden with a one inch head that falls noisily with no lacing. Aroma is straight forward sweet malt and general cereal grains. Fairly mild nose, though nothing offensive or unnatural. Taste is the nose, malt sweetness and toast grain and perhaps a brief touch of floral hop. The finish is a bot watery, and finishes more or less clean. Inoffensive, but dull taste. Palate is medium to thin up front, then thins out a bunch in the middle and especially the finish. A bit better than the rest of the macro crowd, I suppose.

Pours mediam gold with a frothy nearwhite head. Aromas of wheat, corn and a slight amount of fruit. Full bodied; creamy carbonation. Flavor is pretty clean, lightly sweet, and there’s a slight touch of light stone fruit in the finish. Not much heat. Just rated Earthquake HGL, and this is even better. :)

Can. Courtesy Gitta og Erik. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Nice grassy notes. Light bitter ok flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate. Not that bad.

Pour is a bright gold with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is grain and corn. Flavor is about the same. Lots of adjuncts and no hops what so ever. Its beers like this that make me glad I’m living today with so many craft beer options. It fills out a mix a six and that is the best thing i have to say about this one.

Draft at the OF. Yeah I ordered this one at the bar, I guess I’ve got problems. Pale orange-yellow, hyper-filtered. Foamy white head, lots of CO2 bubbles. Macro aroma. A touch more depth than Blatz. Some sembalnce of hops in the aftertaste. Medium light body. Not horrific, but certainly not great.

Bottle. Pleasantly surprised that one of my cousins found this beer. Nothing really stands out about it, but just the fact that it’s the "classic formula" from Schlitz, I find myself getting more upset about how much they screwed up. The number one beer for years (decades) screwed up, and was replaced with something only marginally better than the Frankenstein concoction that the suits had come up with that ultimately destroyed their market share.

Slightly skunked aroma of barley malt. Clear yellow, minimal head. Tastes lemony with mulberry and a slightly cardboardy finish. Fail.

40oz bottle courtesy of dkachur on 08/01/2009. Very clear pale yellow body with a large frothy white head. Stale water and corn aroma. Sticky corn and grainy flavor. Medium body with moderately high carbonation.

FORTY FROM FOOD LION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pours clear golden with gobs of carbonation and a large head. Poor retention and decent lacing. Aroma is creamed corn. Taste is creamed corn and rubbing alcohol. Medium bodied. Kinda creamy all over. Not good.
