Southern Highlands appears to have merged with Powder Monkey. Can. Pretty much black with ~cm of beige head. Aroma is roasty with some stewed fruit and singed sugars. So it tastes - a fair bit of caught caramel & chocolate but it's really not sweet. Solid drop.

From a 375ml can on 30/3/2025. Seems to use the brand of the English brewery but brewed by Southern Highlands Brewing with no express mention of being a contract brew. Pours an ever so slightly hazy light golden with a big, bright white head. The nose features some modest, indistinct citrus notes. The flavour features some orange and lemon, and maybe a touch of mango. Finishes with a light tangy bitterness. Light to medium body with average carbonation. Passable I guess, but nothing more.

(Can) Pours clear golden with small white head. Subtle aroma with notes of candy, lemon, grain and a hint of cardboard. Light body with moderate, slightly fizzy, carbonation. Pleasant, simple, taste. There’s a bit of citrus up front, some restrained sweetness in the middle and some restrained bitterness in the finish. There’s some peppery notes at the start and some bread / dough hints towards the end. Pleasant enough.

(Can) Pours clear golden with good white head. Nice, albeit subtle, aroma of yeast, pine and citrus. Great mouthfeel- medium body with mouth filling soft carbonation. Good taste too. There’s a peppery bitter bite throughout the palate that carries into a long finish. The short lived foretaste has fruit and candy notes. Very good.
