Can. Amber with an off white head. Aroma of breadcrust, tenor register citrus, some earthy and honey notes. Cleaner and perhaps more focused than suggested by the aroma with firm bready malt under kumquat, grapefruit and a little resin oozing towards a firmly bitter finish. Fair enough.

Schooner on tap at Taphouse. Different name, but same ABV, same ingredients. Pours a pale amber with a thin white head. Medium carbonation, slight haze. Nose of malt and hops. Sparkly and easy drinking. Not very smoked. Sweet and grainy at the end. Yes you can just notice some eggplant. Bog standard pale ale otherwise.

Pint on tap at Taphouse. Dark brown beer with a thin white head. Nose is sweet cocoa with a little fruit. Good lacing. Medium body, slight zing. Taste is lightly bitter with a slightly dry finish, notes of chocolate and cocoa. As it warms, liquorice and fruit emerge. Very good porter. Not a style I like but this is good.

Schooner on tap at Taphouse, Moss Vale. Copper red beer with a thin creamy head. Malty nose but not too sweet. Effervescent in the mouth with an earthy bitterness, even a touch of pine needles. Quite sharp carbonation. Finish is bitter lemon with underlying caramel. Light body but good flavours for such a low ABV.

Schooner on tap at taphouse. Crystal clear amber beer with a thin foamy head that leaves some lacing. Light fruity nose, medium carbonation. Effervescent and bitter. Finish is initially malty with some late hoppy bitterness. Not bad for a mid-strength, tastes very Australian.

Pint on tap at taphouse. Golden amber beer with thin white head. Slight haze, low carbonation. Distant nose of fruity hops. Some zinginess at first then there's an earthy dank bitterness. Some sharp grapefruit notes late on add to the complexity. Contemplative sipper.

Pint on tap at taphouse. Red/bronze beer with foamy white head. Zero carbonation. Smoky sweet malt nose. Flat mouthfeel, light body. Smoky sweet taste with notes of dark caramel and tobacco. There's a late touch of bitter dark fruit. Nothing outrageous but right on style.

Schooner on tap at tap rooms, Moss Vale. Pours a clear golden amber with a thin white head. Medium carbonation. Some lacing. Nice light aroma of tangerine and malt. Taste is crisp, refreshing with more tangerine notes apparent. A little hoppy bitterness backed up by some excellent malt finishes it off. Nice easy-drinking APA which tastes like it contains some premium ingredients

Schooner on tap at tap room, Moss Vale. Crystal clear golden amber beer with a big fluffy head. High carbonation. Nose is grainy, quite like a Pils. Taste is sweet, sweet, sweet. Bubblegum, malt and a little fruit. Some late sour grain finishes it of. Even for a Helles this is one sweet lager.

Schooner on tap at Surveyor General Hotel, Berrima. Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. High carbonation. Very light aroma of bready malt. Laces well. Taste is sweet malt with tiny notes of pepper and dough. Finish is slightly sour with touches of wheat and fruit. It's like a slightly amped-up version of James Squire 150 Lashes. Not perfect but a drinkable local ale nevertheless.
