Clear, very light golden-yellow colour with a bubbly-soapy white cap that disappears rather quickly, leaving a foamy ring on the brew. Mild sweet malt aromas with hints of pears, creating a light fruitiness. The taste gives out pretty much the same. Some nice cereal notes, and a touch of the spicy hops found in Pils. A pretty decent, lightler pilsner, but still feeling microbrewed.

Second Schwarzbier rating of the night (the other being Boréale Agate Iris). Same clean dark brown with a ruby highlight, a frothy, slightly creamy beige head, good retention and some thick foamy lacing. Aromas of roasted malts with lots of fresh cut grass hoppiness. The taste shows the same. Thin enough mouthfeel, crisp and refreshing. Not bad for the style, but did prefer the Boréale one, as smelt better.

Dark brown colour with a little copper highlight. Beautiful aromas of the roasted malt base with soft dark fruits blended with apples and hints of vanilla. Cacao powder does come out with a touch of coffee. The head is frothy, slightly creamy, mocha-coloured, good retention for the high alcohol and some spots of lacing are left. The alcohol is well-hidden, with hardly any burning. Just a building bitterness, bite with some decent dryness in the finish. Roasted barley taste with some nicely balanced grassy hops in the end. Bitter chocolate lingers. Quite a nice Imperial Russian Stout that packs a punch.

Lightly hazed golden with an amber hue. The head is bubbly, average stay and very mild lacing spots. The mouthfeel seems quite thin for the style, and alcohol content. Citrus aromas and flavours with mostly oranges, and hints of pineapples in the nose. Also, something a little off in that department, like almost bad water, as the scents are milder than expected. A tad boozy on the tongue, and a tad bitter with the citrus zest in the finish. Not bad for those who prefer their NEPA thinner.
