We are a small packaging microbrewery located in Farmville, North Carolina. We sold our first beer in August of 2004. We specialize in beautiful, delicious, full flavored dark beers. When we brew, we’re happy and we dance. During fermentation, we sing softly to the yeast. Please try our beer and enjoy a taste of contentment!
Crazy upfront oatmeal and malt notes. Bit thin afterwards but easy to drink.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a motor oil black with a half finger of beige foam that lingers. Big Nutella, sorghum nose. Dates and cacao, melted brown sugar. Roasted malt on the palate. Toasted caramel, roasted bitter finish. A big beautiful, rich and full-flavored stout. Everything a baltic should be. --- Beer merged from original tick of The Duck-Rabbit Baltic Porter on 06 Oct 2017 at 21:36 - Score: 7. Original review text: Big Nutella, sorghum nose. Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a pitch black with a half-finger of beige head. Roasted coffee, prune and toasted granola. Medium body, great balance. Lingering chocolate and coffee notes. Touch of latte on the finish. I like this. --- Beer merged from original tick of The Duck-Rabbit Milk Stout on 04 Sep 2017 at 20:39 - Score: 7. Bottle from Harris Teeter, Hampstead, North Carolina. Dark reddish-brown with a thin off-white head. Has a sweet nose, with a mildly sweet dark malt taste rather than any stated roasted malts.

Pours a coppery brown from a bottle, very little head which quickly dissipates. Big caramel, toffee aroma, some vanilla added in the flavor. Too sweet and syrupy for me. Good beer.
Porter is as Porter was.
Malty goodness, sweet nose, chocolate notes.
Is it a rabbit or is it a duck? It's a rabid duck. Smooth high abv Russian stout with tons of malt, chocolate, chicory flavor.
