Draft at the Fest zum Reinen Bier in Ingolstadt. This was a tough one to rate with an aroma that was exceptionally yeasty and dank, at times almost foul, but moderately redeemed a moment later with a clove-like spice. Taste is crisp and bitter with lingering spice. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Doesn’t come together.

Draft at Fest zum Reinen Bier in Ingolstadt. Rich, chestnut color. Toasted grains. Caramel. Bittersweet up front, bitter at the back with strong roasted tones. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, decent chewiness. Good.

Poured from bottle at Sulzberger Bierhaus Bierfestival, Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm Saturday 15th July 2023 in the company of Ursula who has now joined us. Pours gold with a a mid sized white head. Certainly very fresh and clean tasting, however not as crisp as I'd like but it's got a little bit crispness, it's fruity. There is a nice soft mouthfeel, sweetness initially but ends dry, light hoppiness and bitterness throughout, quite good.

Bottle at Sulzberger Bierhaus Bierfestival, Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm Saturday 15th July 2023. Pours hazy yellow with a white head a little bit of warm hay, quite the farmyard nose. Very soft mouthfeel, the taste lacks the impact of the aroma, slight sweetness, a little soft candy, not bad but the aroma promised so much more.

Bottle 50 cl. Light golden, hazy, very lush white with yellow foam. Aroma: orange with yeast, herbaceous and fruity, fresh. Taste: yeasty, citrus, fruity, grassy bitterness.

Tap. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is wheat, a touch banana, a lot of würze. Taste is the same. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbobation. Good.
