Bottle from Ludivigne Varengeville-sur-Mer (76). Hazy golden with a fluffy head. Malty, yeasty with hints of banana, not unlike a German style Hefeweizen.

18/IV/22 - 33cl bottle as a gift, shared @ home, BB: 15/I/21 (2022-379) Thanks to my cross-the-street neighbour Fre for the gift!
Clear dark brown beer, big creamy irregular beige head, pretty stable, falls down quickly, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, grains, banana, yeasty, dried fruits, caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty, good roast, grains, cow fodder, hay, some chocolate. Aftertaste: yeast, alcohol, more roast, bitter, dry, a bit spicy, good stuff!

Clear dark amber to red beer, small creamy beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: wow, caramel, bit sweet, malty, lots of dried fruits, quite some vanilla, soft roast, little soapy, floral notes, ripe banana, some mocha. This smells very promising! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: surprisingly dry start, soft acidity, dried fruits, nothing sweet or malty, earthy, soft roast, some overripe banana, chocolate notes. Aftertaste: bitter touch, bit yeasty, some banana, caramel mocha, slightly spicy, some banana peel.
