Tap at L'Antre du Malt. Hazy orange golden. Sweet malts, oats, peach, orange zest, yoghurt, light grassy. Medium sweet, less bitter. Medium bodied. Not horrible, but the yoghurt notes are off putting.

Slow tickers club application here with this one - almost a year since I was in Normandy having this one. Tap pour La Porte Ouvert, Rouen, not too far away from the magnificent Cathedral. Golden with a carbonation and a very small head. Fine regional ale with lots of bubble-gum sweetness in both aroma and taste - and it lingers, but not overdone or overbearing. Clearly strong but not too much impact in taste here.

18/IV/22 - 33cl bottle as a gift, shared @ home, BB: 15/I/21 (2022-379) Thanks to my cross-the-street neighbour Fre for the gift!

Clear dark brown beer, big creamy irregular beige head, pretty stable, falls down quickly, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, grains, banana, yeasty, dried fruits, caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty, good roast, grains, cow fodder, hay, some chocolate. Aftertaste: yeast, alcohol, more roast, bitter, dry, a bit spicy, good stuff!
