Cloudy blond color with creamy head. It’s a Weizenbock on steroids, powerful, sweet, spicy, and with modern fruitiness like some of the recent Schneider Weisse beers. Good.

Cloudy light amber color with creamy head. Mild malt and hop aroma. Some malt flavor, but with a dusty and earthy character (soil); quite strong bitterness, but without fresh hop qualities.
Not impressed (think of stuff like Shipyard and Widmer).

The color is dark chestnut, not black, with generous compact head. The aroma is hoppy, a bit dusty and feety. Good body, full, yet lean mouthfeel, smooth; roasted malts, without being too ashy; it has very light residual sugars, a good yeast character, strong bitterness; in the final, some hop resins and .
Rough and unclean, but a good powerful brew overall.

Deep blond color. The beer is delicate, quite clean; maybe just a tad sweeter than the beers in Cologne, and without grassy hops, but still quite close to the style (which I don’t get excited for though).

Bottle, 65cl. An unclear, amber colored beer topped by a dense, two-finger off-white head. The aroma is almost entirely on the hoppy side, citrus, peach and passion fruit. There’s some maltyness in the back of the flavor, and a decent bitterness to support it. Tropical fruits too. I wouldn’t mind more bitterness neither in the start nor in the finish. Full body and a pleasant carbonation. Sweet, bitter finish with tropical fruits. A tasteful and pleasant beer that wouldn’t do bad from a bit higher alcohol level. 130308

Bottle 640ml @ fonefan
Pours slightly hazy golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grass and some fruits. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long fruity and grassy finish. Bod is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle @ Scooper Tasting in Ulfborg. Pours cloudy amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of hops, with fruity and citric notes. Sweetish, malty flavour, enhanced by regular, bitter, hoppy notes and touches of citrus. Acidic and bitter finish. OK.
