Draught at Brewerkz. Cloudy golden brown with good head. I could detect no significant aroma. Plenty of body with a good carbonation that is frothy on the tongue. Very well balanced flavour with good bitter finish. High alcohol content is not obvious in taste. An easy to drink strong beer.

Muddy dark-amber color; thin creamy head. The aroma, with some cereals, and the taste, with some cereals as well, let me think the ingredients were quite good, but they have not been worked well. Drinkable but simple, mild. The final is too short. Not enough body/malt, but bitter enough.

Blond color. Lager with a quite bitter finish. If not for a bit of sweetness, I could not tell this one from any can of Lager available at any corner store. I start wondering if they hired a new brewer…

Hazy brown color. Delicate aroma of roasted malt and some hop. Dry mouthfeel, some roasted malt and chocolate flavor, quite strong bitterness. Maybe because the previous two were so bad, this one seems more acceptable, but still, it reminds me too much a beer homebrewed with kits.

Cloudy golden color. Both the aroma, and even more the flavor, show a citric touch, a wheat character and a hopping from extracts. Odd.

Hazy amber color. Smells a bit like a beer left from the previois day. It tastes like a dry but pleasant Ale, with some good hops; the fruitness is almost impossible to detect, and unfortunately there is too much tannic bitterness. Unbalanced flavors.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of fiulijn. Vintage 2005. Pours a cloudy amber golden with a tall, lively shaving foam style, thick, off-white head. Lightly citrusy nose. Quite full-bodied with lots of sweetish caramel malt and a dry, bitter finish. Not exactly sophisticated, but OK. 310807

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with a light of white head. Malty grapefruit aroma. Flavour is edgy malty and hoppy. Dry and fruity finish. Nice.

2007-08-31, bottle vintage 2005, 2 years old, 7% ABV, 7-4-6-3-14=34
Hazy orange color; persistent thin head. Nice hoppy aroma a bit resiny. The body seems have thinned over time, and the yeast and the age produced a fair negative impact on this beer, that may have been better fresh; irony, it’s a Vintage, as if it’s intended to age…
The hopping is quite good, with some resins; and in the end the malt (both body and sweetness) is more evident; and there is a light apricot fruitness.
I guess that when (if) I will move to Singapore, I will have to survive on this ;-)

Cloudy amber color; big head. Clear aroma of hop pellets (English hop, Fuggles?). There is enough malt flavor, even if the body is not thick at all; the bitterness is medium-high, partially aromatic. The final, even if not extreme, is quite long. There is a cheesy touch, in the taste (interesting). Probably closer to a traditional English IPA, not extreme. Enjoyable, and rare in Singapore.

(Bottle 33 cl) Very cloudy orangey golden with a tiny, off-white head. Lightly sweet and yeasty nose. Medium body with lightly sweet caramel notes, fruit and a distinct yeastiness. Extremely carbonated. Has a vague underlying tartness throughout. Courtesy of highlandland all the way from the brewpub via Sydney. Thanks for the effort mate. 120207
