Description
Our brewery is made up of two different brewhouses — a 5bbl (600L) production brewhouse from Premier Stainless, which is the heart of our operation, and an SS BrewTech 1bbl (120L) pilot system, which gives us a true nano setup to test our latest ideas and innovative notions.

This is fantastic! At 14%, this is a damn strong braggot. Tastes like a fine port. Much love. Pic: who put that guy in my glass?! 🤔

Strong and rich. Noticably salty but quite balanced. I'm told this year's vintage is even more salty, that doesn't seem necessary to me but I'd try it!

- 1 point for the irritating superfluous wax. Russet-cream head over russet tinted, almost black beer. Chocolate, liquorice, japwater; some mild roast, roasted grains. Liquorice, japwater, preserved orangepeel. Some alcohol in the background, if for a 10.4% beer, meek. Roast. Surprisingly thin MF for such a massive beer; more than a bit sticking. Disappointing. Le plumage ne vaut pas le ramage. Japwater & some alcohol.

Draft at the Gravity Brewing taproom, Budapest. Poured a clear almost black colour with a short-lived, frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty, big coffee. The flavour is big liquorice bitter, with a silky smooth, rich, roasty, spicy coffee, big liquorice, warm, slightly boozy alcohol bitter finish. Full bodied with flat carbonation. Very enjoyable.

Draft at Constellation, Budapest. Poured a murky dark brown colour with a short-lived, frothy tan head and a reddish hue. The aroma is big raspberry. The flavour is moderate sour, with a crisp, tart sour raspberry palate. There is no room for anything else. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft at the Gravity Brewing taproom, Budapest. Poured a dark mahogany, almost black colour with a lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty, warm boozy alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet and liquorice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, dark chocolate, liquorice, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation and an oily mouthfeel. Didn’t really get the salt.
