Mostly clear gold with scattered white top. Taste of malts with stewed citrus and stone fruit; nice but basic although there is a bit of hop spice and decent bitterness in the finish. Light to mid bodied.

440 can. Pale clear gold, small white head which quickly recedes to leave a circular retention and a small scattering in the middle. Aroma of pilsner pale malts and lemon citrus hop; fairly standard but fine. Taste is the same, Its quite clean and crisp with a nice carbonation zing in the finish but then does leave a slight cardboardy to metallic note on the palate which makes you want to take another sip quick to enjoy the best of the beer. Still its better than most of the standard supermarket lagers.

15/3/2024. Draught at The Phoenix Bar, Shoreditch High Street (on the corner of Rivington Street where E1 Brew Co is based). Pours clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is floral, malty, biscuit, creamy fruity notes. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, light tart edge. Moderate body, average carbonation. Perfectly drinkable better than mainstream lager.
