Can from Ocado, Byfleet. Aroma has malts, light slice and herbs. Clear gold. Thick foamy frothy white head. Light-medium bitter followed by citrus tinged yeast sad malts lager sweetness. A tad Soda water. Light bodied. Thin if slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Polite. Would have preferred more crispness and less sweetness.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Junction Supermarket. Pours crystal clear gold with a modest, frothy white head. Light-medium sweet flavour, really simple sun-kissed pale malts, pine, leaves, orange rind. Light bodied with average carbonation. Mellow resinous finish, pale bread, pine, semi-ripe citrus. Quite basic but fairly drinkable.

Can from Ocado so I had to pay twice the going rate at Home Bargains. Aroma is malty, a touch of stone fruit and citrus. Clear copper gold. Fluffy foamy white head. Medium bitter. Grapefruit and a hint of quinine. Underlying jammy sweet edged fruit sourness then surfaces. Malty. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. The blurb on the can bangs on about how this beer evokes what it means to be British and, yeah, this is for me a twiggy take in an IPA. Perhaps an IPA - English rather than a straight up SIPA. Not particularly modern despite the claim on the can.

440ml can from Home Bargains -Clear yellow body, no head. Malty nose, similar taste, bit of metallic at the end. A bit shit TBH.

440ml can: BB 25th Sep 2021. Shared with Margie and my nephew, Andy TF2 on my patio on 25th Apr 2021. Bog standard Lager/Pils, leaning towards maltiness rather than hoppiness, but not much of anything really. Glad it was cheap!

Can from Home Bargains, Salford City Shopping Centre. Pale golden with a thin head. Slightly continental in design, it's basically a lager, is quite crisp, but not much else to report.
