Sample at GABF 10/08/2016, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. The beer is a dark brownish-amber color with a medium thick beige head that diminishes gradually. Patchy lacing. Oak, caramel malt, fruit and yeast in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of dark fruit, oak, earthy yeast and malt. The finish is oaky and fruity with a fig and yeast aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Crowler, thanks to fatknitty! Pours deep black, large creamy tan head, aloe to dissipate, nice lacing. Aroma is roasty, cocoa, peanut butter, ashtray. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter. PB Porter done right. Medium body. This beer has restored my faith in peanut butter beers in general.

Tap at Small City Taphouse. The menu had this and Nut Smasher listed so I assume they are two different beers. Solid black color with a solid two finger tan head that persists. Big sweet roasty chocolate coffee brown sugary toffee with enough earth and warming alcohol to balance it nicely. This is so rich like desert in a glass, I’m a huge fan

Tap at Small City Taphouse. Hazy deep yellow with a huge rocky white head that persists forever. Spicy earthy wheat and yeasty esters with a touch of spicy hops to counter. Came off a bit sweet to me.
