It is also a liquor store and guides brewers with advice and logistical assistance in brewing their beer.
The Decaestecker Brewery, or Deca for short, was founded around 1880-1890 and destroyed during WO. I. The brewer not only made beer, but also lemonade.
The house is an eclectic wide house. The brewery was and is in the factory buildings behind it.
The brewery became after WWI. rebuilt partly with recycled material. In addition to the traditional cooling machine from around 1920 and the stirring tank from around 1850, the company has been completely modernized.
In 1980 he Jo Christiaens took over the former Decaestecker brewery in Woesten. Together with his son Nicolas, he turned the Deca brewery into a profitable brewery.

Bottled (BB 06/2008)
Hazy muddy orange color, small white head. Very sweet fruity aroma, hints of coriander and wet old books. Medium- bodied. Some fruity notes, but flavor is dominated by harsh rubber. Maybe also a bit herbal. Aftertaste is quite peppery. Dry palate, propably quite old botte (more than 2-3 years?).

Bottle at Tre Små Rum, Göteborg
Cloudy blond color, with too many floating particles; generous head. It’s a hardcore Belgian Ale, in the yeast and hop profile; it’s also lightly spicy, it has a smooth mouthfeel and some honey flavor (maybe also some honey aroma); correct bitterness and evident alcohol warmth. I guess that it’s a couple of years old, and it has gained something with the age. Good.
