Toasted and sweet malty with lashings of caramel and fudge like sweetness, layers of dried fruit shred, nice spices, full body, bourbon and cognac accents into the dark malty lingering finish.

Bottle. Pours a deep, opaque mahogany with a medium beige head with decent lacing and residual. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla, oak tannin, bourbon, fudge, coffee grounds, tobacco, and molasses. Flavor is medium plus sweet, light bitter, well integrated. Full body, silky mouthfeel.
Caramely malty, syrupy and heavy with toffee, barrel, vanilla, bourbon, oak and hints of sweetness. Quite heavy but complex and balanced, intense barley wine.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Pretty much an opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly darkish tan head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Rich dark malts, a good dark chocolate, slightly earthy. Good fruity bourbon, rich and ripe and very mildly spicy. A vague notion of maple on the back end, not sure I would have spotted it without for knowledge. A sound Impy.

Bottle shared by Yaniv, thanks! Pours near black with a dark brown head that dissipates quickly to the edgees. Aroma has strong bitter roasted malts with some caramel and a strong barrel presence. Flavor has more caramel and toffee with growing dark grains and chocolate with a strong barrel backbone.

thanks fonefan! Pitch black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, toffee, some mild dried fruits, alcohol and a bit wooden tones. Flavour is toffee, some dried fruits and caramel and some alcohol tones. Plummy tones too. Pleasant, though quite strong. Alcohol burns on the gum.

Lighter shade of black with a fast collapsing beige head.
Nose is fruit cake mix, dates, chocolate, brown sugar melt, vanilla, mellow barrel notes.
Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, bourbon, spice, oak, molasses, brown sugar melt, figs, faint maple presence ... well tempered, booze tunes, toffee crisp.
Full bodied, light oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Solid BA strong.
