Malty, fruity nose with treacle, caramel, dried fruit, raisins, brown sugar, bourbon, vanilla and oak wood. Malty, fruity taste with notes of raisins, figs, dried fruit, caramel, vanilla, bourbon, oak wood and a mild spicy bitterness in a vinous and warming finish. Full body, quite sweet. Rich, warming and powerful. Very nice.

Malty, vinous taste with coffee, dark chocolate, oak wood, caramel, liquorice, port wine and a gentle spicy/roasty bitterness in the finish. Full body, sweet. Hardly shy. Quite powerful. Really rich and tasty. Very nice.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 7 Sep 2024) Dark red colour (ruby port) with no head. Fruity nose with port wine, dried fruit, oak wood, red fruit and vinegar. Malty, fruity, tart taste with notes of caramel, black-currant, dark cherries, oak wood and vinegar. Low bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Really tasty and quite well balanced, for a 12% oud bruin. Very nice.

Powerful and warming, still quite harmonious and well balanced. Very nice.

Malty, vinous taste with espresso, dark chocolate, cacao, soy sauce, oak wood and a balanced roasty bitterness in a fairly boozy finish. Full body, quite sweet. Rich and tasty, possibly a bit on the boozy side. Very nice.

Malty, fruity taste with notes of citrus, dried fruit, marzipan, orange peel and a gentle citric bitterness in a vinous finish. Full body, quite sweet. Strong, sweet and powerful, but quite tasty. Nice one.

Malty, vinous taste with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, soy sauce, liquorice and a balanced roasty bitterness in a vinous and warming finish. Full body, quite sweet. Powerful, but quite well balanced for its strength. Very nice.
