CBJ tasting, bottle thanks to me and courtesy of the Wolf. Near clear dark amber brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Very woody dry dark malts. A touch of chocolate liqueur. The main aspect of this brew seems to be spicy wood. The massive abv is, fairly lightly delivered.

(Bottle pour, Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 8 Aug 2025) Reddish brown colour with no head. Malty, slightly vinous nose with notes of caramel, nuts, oak wood, whisky, vanilla and plums. Malty, vinous taste with caramel, dried fruit, raisins, dates, figs, vanilla, oak wood, plums and a mild spicy bitterness in a warming finish. Full body, quite sweet. Rich and warming, with lots of dried fruit and a touch of whisky. Very nice.

Provning i soffan! Häller upp denna suspekta dryck som är rödfärgad. Pale ale?? Doftar kraftigt hemkört o bara det. Smakmässigt så finns inget som har med en pale ale göra. Knasig öl som inte borde komma ut på marknaden.
