(Bottle sample, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 25 Oct 2025) Black colour with no head. Malty, roasted, vinous nose with coffee, dark chocolate, herbs, mint and a touch of Jägermeister. Malty, roasted, vinous taste with notes of herbs, dark chocolate, soy sauce, liquorice and a balanced roasty/herbal bitterness. Full body, sweet. Interesting, and quite herbal. Some Jägermeister going on here. Nice one.

Malty, roasted, vinous nose with notes of chocolate, oak wood, dried fruit, raisins, prunes, liquorice, dark cherries and a touch of port wine. Malty, roasted, vinous taste with dark chocolate, dried fruit, raisins, oak wood, soy sauce, liquorice and a warming, vinous finish with a balanced roasty bitterness and a slight alcohol bite. Medium body, sweet. Rich, powerful and far from shy. Balanced? Well, hardly. But really tasty and built for slow sipping by the fire. Great beer!

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 25 Oct 2025. 14.5%) Hazy amber colour with no head. Fruity, malty, vinous nose with orange peel, spices, caramel and dried apricots. Fruity, vinous taste with notes of caramel, orange peel, apricots, dried fruit, spices and a warming finish with a mild spicy bitterness and a gentle acidity. Full body, quite sweet. Rich, warming and tasty with a nice Christmasy touch. Very nice. (Label says Archangelus Noël 2025, so might possibly be a separate entry or batch. I'll leave it here for now.)

Malty, fruity, vinous taste with notes of caramel, raisins, prunes, dried fruit, a slightly burnt Madeira wine touch and a warming finish with low bitterness and a gentle acidity. Full body, quite sweet. Rich, powerful and complex. Interesting. Very nice.

Thanks omhper! Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is some nutty tones with with some roasted malts and some slight alcohol to it. Flavour is nutty, some strong alcohol tones, mild rosted and some gluelike elements. Brutal.
