Tallboy can from some random store that was going out of business, but thanks reggiedunlop for also sending me a can! Pours a clear dark brown with a thin brown head. Good head retention. Hazy Amber ruby red. 1 finger head. Smells really nice. Smell is pine, ginger, some dark malts. Taste is a hard to describe. Sweet with a well integrated bitterness. A nice mix of sweet and citrus with pine cone effervescent chewiness and lingering citrus finish

Stoked to try this one. Tall boy canned a few weeks ago. A friend brought this over to share. 3 ounce pour. a dark brown reddish hues, pretty translucent. Mild roasted nose, some peanut, lots of maple, light orange brown sugar, some caramelized malts. Decent mouthfeel. Taste is interesting. Light sweetness, some nutty taste, lots of maple but most sugar has fermented out. bakers chocolate, cinnamon finish with maple.

Can: Poured a clear amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops with some earthy hops notes is pleasant enough. Taste is not as sharp on hops as I would have expected with some citrus notes and a lightly sweet malt backbone. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not as much floral hoppy notes as I had expected form a Vermont IIPA. May be due to fact that brewery is only starting.

Tallboy from the brewery. split 2 ways in standard pint glasses at fridge temp. Thanks James Welch for sharing. Dark orange with a fluffy 3 finger head poured out of the can. Nose is sweet, lots of citrus, juicy honeysuckle, melon, clove, watermelon. lots of tropical tree fruits. Mouthfeel is very thin, not a lot of carbonation, it has more of a candy-like sweetness that you’d get from a hard candy. taste is much sweeter, not very clean, finish is a bit strange. Not sure I’m a huge fan of this one. will update review if it changes as I open more cans.
