Pint from Bull Bracebridge Heath, Lincoln. Coloured golden beer with a thin white short head. Not much aroma, but the flavour was nice and bitter.

Cask at The Scarborough Arms, Leeds. Pours clear dark amber, thick creamy head. Aromas of toffee, light citrus. Taste is light sweet, more citrus bitterness. Good.

Cask at the Granite City, ABZ, 22/06/14. Lightly hazed golden amber with a good sized egg shell white head. Nose is sweet malts, caramel, mellow fruit, bready twinges. Taste comprises bread pudding, fruits, caramel, light spice, floral notes, touch of hops. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bitter sweet close. Decent enough bitter.

On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - dark amber to chestnut. Nice fluffy head. Nose - sweet malt with a fresh note that is somewhere between citrus and orchard. Taste - more apples plus sweet malt and just a touch of citrus again. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long elegant finish. Overall - really enjoyed this. Beer of the day.

Bottle sample at my 5555th rating tasting at Sar HaMashkaot Ramat Gan. Thanks zvikar. As Marks & Spencer Norfolk Bitter. 4.8%. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma of floral, citric and earthy hops, a bit of yeast, malt and a bit of caramel. Sweetish flavor with malt, caramel, a bit of bread, earthy hops and mild bitterness. Medium-bodied.

Bottle from M&S. Clear dark brown with small off-white head. Very spicy up front, some dried fruits, caramel, citrus, some weird candy sweetness, like the candy with many herbs in it. Medium bodied and bit light carbonation. Quite interesting stuff.
