50cl Bottle from M&S, as Norfolk Bitter. Clear copper colour, white head. Aroma of grain, toast, stale hops, caramel, peach, some citrus. Flavour is dry, grain and toast, hint of metal, caramel, hint of lemon, bitter light-hoppy finish. Light-bodied. Not great.

Piwo jak na biter przystalo. Niewielka na jeden palec pianka, kolor miedziany i metny bo tu nie zalowali osadu. Ladnie sie rozprowadzalo po pintowej szklanicy. Zapach chmielowo kwiatowy. W smaku dalo sie odczuc tez wyraznie styrian golding. Ogolnie piwo lekkie i o niskiej zawartosci alkoholu.

Cask. Golden-amber. Bubbly head. Spicy, with light hop fruitiness. Light body but a fair bit of fruitiness. Good mellow brew.

Train rate. Bottle from marks and Spencer. Aroma is caramel, apple, sea weed. Flavour is salty, caramel, apple, nutty malt. Some fishy and metalic notes. Palate has a carbonation bite and pretty thin. Pretty shit.

Cask at Watford jdw. Copper colour with a lasting dense white head. Aroma is nutty malt and apple. Flavour is spicy apple and cinnamon. Some hot alcohol in the finish. Nice enough palate. Pretty average.

Cask @ The Olde Sun, St Neots. Light to mid brown, clear. Full white head. Toffee/caramel and alcohol in the nose: smells stronger than 5%. Multi-layered taste: the initial sweetness masks an intense bitter edge. Apparently now only available during the Christmas period, so seek it out while you can.

Cask at the Whispering Moon, Carshalton, Surrey on 3rd December 2013. Copper with thin white head and initial lacing. Sweet and spicy aroma with caramel malt and berries. Sweet and fruity in-mouth with berries and gingery note. Sweet finish dying away quite quickly. Zingy mouthfeel and light body.

Bottle from Marks & Spencer called Norfolk Bitter to be specific! Copper-amber in colour and no head. Itโ has a good pale ale nose with a fruitiness, although much less stated in taste. Has a decent medium to full body.

Bottle from somewhere in Norfolk. Hazy, no head, flat. Crap condition, actually. Smells good, all juicy hops and fruit, but after that itโs all a bit drumming of fingers, and wondering what to have next.
