Cask at Bedford CAMRA Beer & Cider Festival 2024. Pours deepest brown with beige/tan foam. Aroma: roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, dark fruits. Taste: towards moderate sweet with similar bitterness. Medium body with light carbonation.

21/8/2024. Cask at the 45th Peterborough Beer Festival. Bedfordshire rating #150. Pours clear dark hazelnut brown with a small frothy beige head. Aroma is malty, toffee, coffee, brown bread, dark fruit, nut. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Oily watery, soft carbonation. Drying finish. Quite liked this.

Aroma is moderate malty, straw, caramel, herbs, floral. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel, sweet malt, sugary, floral, herbal.
