Tasting at Phill's, bottle
Black colour, large head, the bottle is a bit gushing, this is suspicious. It's on the dry side, with high carbonation; the flavour doesn't show clear signs of infection, but it's fairly thin and carbonated, slightly metallic, with little sweetness left.
Problematic.

750ml @ Phill's. Appearance: dark brown with big dark beige head (looks like an infected) Aroma: a weird guelder rose notes that's probably coming from the bourbon barrel. Taste: along the same lines with some coconut and nuts notes. Overall: meh, it may be on the early stage of infection.

Dark brown, thin head. Has some toasty notes, a bit of roast, nice coconut and vanilla. A bit of hazelnut, too, so it's all there. It's a bit thin, but there's some good flavours because of all the elements.

750mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is rather jumbled, with cocoa, toasted nuts, some barrels, and some perfumey booze. Flavour is jumbled, with toasted nuts, cocoa, toasted malt, and a touch of wood. A bit jumbled and confused, but pleasant enough.

Can: Poured a cloudy/hazy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops notes with some juicy notes and floral hosp undertones. Taste is also a mix of juicy hops notes with some citrusy hops notes, some floral undertones with a dry finish. Body is not as full as I was expecting with some good carbonation. Enjoyable but hops are not as prevalent as I was expecting with a thinner body.
