750 ml bottle shared by Bobby. The pour is light haze golden ruby with a small off white head. The aroma is caramel sweet malt, herbal medicinal yeast and a general spiciness. The taste is the caramel malt nicely integrated with the general yeast notes. Nice round flavor. The palate is medium to heavy bodied, low carbonation level and a mineral finish. Nice one, thanks for sharing Bobby.

Boulder Strong Ale Fest. Black appearance with a dark brown head. Carmel, dark chocolate, oaky, light veggie aroma. Dark chocolate, caramel, oaky, toffee, light celery flavor. Not sure if the veggie notes that I picked up were just from the wood or if they were an infection. Either way, it made the beer a disappointment to me.
