Draft - Lime and some soap. Cloudy copper with almost no head. Smokey chipotle and some lime, with a bit of heat on the throat. Interesting, and for them pretty good.

Draft - Spicy ginger and light malts. Clear gold with a nice white head. Raw ginger, not sweet it bitter and vegetive. Not balanced enough with sweetness.

Enjoyed a pint at the Arrow & Loon after the first RedBlacks’ home victory. Pours a very slight hazy amber colour with a creamy off-white head that lasts for the whole experience. Fruity cream ale aromas. Creamy mouthfeel with a crisp feel. Pretty much the same taste as the nose, with the fruity malts, mild bitterness from the hops in the finish. Refreshing creamy ale with decent body and bite in the end.

Purchased at the brewpub in a 750ml bottle. Pours a slight hazed golden colour with a frothy white head, better-than-average retention and some soapy lacing. Aromas of thyme at first pour, but after breathing, the sourness from the lemon surpasses and some sweetness prevails. The mouthfeel is not quite syrupy, but this is a beer made to drink colder. The lemon is stronger than the thyme in the taste, but overall, well-balanced. A decent spiced saison that is not too powerful, but good.

Purchased bottle at brewpub. Pours a clear golden colour with a white head, average retention and minimal lace. Smells like a grainy pilsner with lots of bread and biscuit. Mild hop are felt as well, but more in the taste. Starts off with the grass and finishes with the grainy malts. Not too strong though. Then, some mild grassy herbs appear in the aftertaste. An easy-drinking, grainy lager for session.

Bottle from the LCBO. Hazy deep amber with a small off white head that quickly fades to a sheet. Nose is toasted malt with some light citrus and a smoky chocolate. Sweet malty start with a spicy earthy smoky middle and a definite heat in the finish. Mouth is medium and sticky with average carbonation. Some more lime might have given better balance for the peppers.

Bottle from the LCBO. Cloudy yellow with a small white head . Nose is cloves and yeast with a touch of lemon. Light sweet start quickly moving to a light spicy middle that ends a bit sooner than expected. Mouth is medium light with active carbonation.
