Bottle from the LCBO. Cloudy deep amber with a small off white head that clings to the glass. Nose is yeast and toffee with some syrupy cherry. Sweet malty and cherry beginning followed by a medium tartness from the cherry. A very light hop bitterness can’t overcome the cherry. Medium oily mouth with average carbonation. Needs more balance.

Part of their Summer Sampler 2014. Pours a rich amber colour with a warm cap, decent retention and some foamy lacing. Sweet nose from the cherries, but does not smell like the fruit. Lots of bread aromas and with time, dark fruits (plum, dates). This fruit does a nice job in the flavours to add the Belgian style to it. Lots of caramel across the board. The hops are mild in the finish, but a little more present than the cherries. A good brew, but more like dark fruits than cherries.

Me debunk a Mill Street myth? And take my life in my hands? Where the great plains begin At the hundredth meridian At the hundredth meridian Where the great plains begin Pours a golden with a fat finger of white head. Smells heavily of caramel malt, and honey. Taste full of malt which fades out to a insipired mild bitterness. Yep this is beer. That’s about it. I remember, I remember Buffalo And I remember Hengelo It would seem to me I remember every single fucking thing I know

Surprised there are so few ratings on this one. Bottle from their Summer 2014 mixer. Let’s hope its better than their Palomar from the same mix pack. The "Best. Pink. Beer. Ever." pours a rosy amber with a couple of fingers of fluffy white head, which might cover up some of the nose. Smells of cherry and caramel malts, no obvious hops there. Fairly sweet on the first taste, those cherries again, with a mild sourness that I’d attribute to the cherries than bugs or hops. Malts take a back seat, but present a hay flavour, and there is a lingering bitteress. This beer is...meh.
