Purchased a big bottle at the brewpub in Ottawa (as they were out on tap). Golden-amber colour, big frothy off-white head, good retention and a little lace, but mostly at the bottom end. Spicy hop nose that is pretty mild, with more fruity malt than anything else. Becomes grainy with time. Same as the taste, grainy cereal malts. Hints of soapy hops and the lime is mildly in the background, making this one a decent fruity malt, refreshing beer. Just wish we could feel the chipotle.

Enjoyed at the National Capital Craft Beer Week. Pours a clean amber colour with a small warm cap and minimal lace. Fruity malt nose with hints of caramel and dark fruits. Fruity taste as well, but milder with lighter fruits and a little hop. Notes of oranges and other tropical fruits. Pretty refreshing and interesting fruity mild amber ale.

Enjoyed at some random bar after a long night of drinking with friends in Toronto, ON. I didn’t take tasting notes for this one, but remember this being ok. More malty than hoppy, kind of reminded me of Fat Tire.

Not bad just a little watered down for style. Aroma has some cheese and light funk notes with some nice yeast. Pours cloudy yellow with some head and lacing. Slightly sour finish, soft carbonation. Tap at beerhall.

Not a great beer. Not sure how or why this was aged but something went wrong somewhere along the way. Pours amber with good head and lacing. Aroma of tin, malt and some oak, but tastes more like the copper fermented than the barrel. Astringent finish. Tap at beerhall.

Drinkable session lager. Pours golden clear with ok head and lacing. Smells of saaz hops. Czech flavour really comes through in this one. Elevated it above average for style. Bitter crisp finish. Some booze and malt in aroma. Not bad actually. On tap at new beer hall.
