Golden, bright, with nice lacing. Mild ginger, and really it’s more malty and cookieish overall.

A hazed golden amber pils with a thin white head. In aroma, faint caramel malt with light German hops and faint mineral notes. In mouth, a very grainy biscuit malt with herbal hops, very German, a bit metallic, a tad cloying. On tap at Arrow and Loon, May 30 2012.

A bar in Canada: Pours a pale gold with a white head. Not really much in the way of aroma. Taste is light at best. Nothing is offensive. This is just a watery, bready beer. I don’t know if they remembered to add hops. Sometimes I make bad choices. This was one of them.

On nitro tap at the Alibi Room, pours black with a tan nitro head. Aroma of rotting wood, metallic notes and light roast. Flavour is dull and lifeless... light roast, very bland... there's nothing here at all. Palate is pleasant and full enough, but no depth in flavour. "Nothing" characterizes this beer.

(on tap at Grad Club, Kingston ON) Poured cold, very dark brown with creamy nitro beige head. Aroma of cold coffee with some roasty malts, weak. Flavour initially weak coffee, roasted malts, little bit of chocolate. Finishes dry. Mouthfeel is thin and watery, aroma is muted, flavours weak, finish dry and bland. Disappointingly mediocre stout.
