Deep dark stout with a thick creamy dark brown head. In aroma, nice smooth chocolate with powdery and chalky notes, classic. In mouth, smooth bitter and herbal chocolate, with coffee, grassy notes, well done. On tap at brewery, Dec. 22 2012.

A light hazed reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light cinnamon, faintly peated. In mouth, a sweet herbaceous caramel malt with woody maple notes, herbaceous, not very smokey, OK. On tap at brewery, Dec. 22 2012.

A deep dark brown ale with a thin moka head. An intense aroma of butterscotch, nutty, coffee, light peaty notes. In mouth, a short boring porter-like creature with some interesting peaty notes malt, but thin and watery. On tap at brewpub, April 1 2010.

Orange amber ale with a thick off white head. Caramel and butterscotch aroma, with fruity esters. A thin beer with sweet caramel malt and English hops, lightly carbonated from casking. Quaffable. Cask, Oct. 7, 2006.

An amber beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is slightly spicy combined with slight notes of brewmash and flowers. The flavor is sweet from a nice malt blend with roasted notes as well as toffee, leading to a nice hoppy extremely dry bitter end.
