Big bottle from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. Creamy, light yellowish foam covering a clear, amber body (except for a hazy last pour). Fairly hopped aroma followed but a delicate taste of succulent oranges with a touch of caramel and underlying sweet berries. Weak, rather abrupt, bitter ending (hotel room in Valby, 15.09.2008).

Black with large light brown head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, coffee and chocolate notes. Sweet flavour with loads of roasted malt, dark bitter chocolate and coffee notes. Hints of oatmeal. Lovely!

Black with a lasting, light brown head. Aroma has tropical fruit hops with a touch of caramel and chocolate. Hoppy bitter flavour clashing, not blending, with chocolate and roast notes. Sure, the IPA gets more interesting, and some of the flavour notes I didn’t like about it are covered up, but it’s still a waste of the brewery’s best beer.

Black with a small light brown head. Big aroma of chocolate, bready and wort-ish malt, caramel, figs. Sweet, mostly chocolate flavour, with a hint of roast in the finish. Silky smooth and silky sweet and slightly boring as such.

Bottle thanks to zathrus13. Pours like motor oil with a completely (completely) black body, with a rocky dark brown head. Aroma of alcohol, currants, raisins, molases, brown sugar and chocolate. Taste is chocolate, molases, alcohol and chocolate. Velvety, syrupy mouthfeel, with light bubbles.
