Fresh and intense. Bitter wooden resiny pine needle aftertaste with notes of citric mango. Very, very good. (0.65l bottle from gr0ve.)

(Bottled). Pitch black color, no head. Very roasted dark malty nose with strong expresso aroma with hints of licorice, also some alcohol. Velvety palate. Oat, dark chocolate and tobacco in the flavor. Warming alcohol with burn peat flavors in the aftertaste. Full-bodied. Nicely balanced malt&hoppyness. Good amount of alcoholic kick. Oat softens the palate. Unfortunately flavor starts a bit too ashy for my liking, I prefer more licorice and chocolate notes in the big IS beers.

Courtesy of gillard. Pours black, dark brown head. Aroma, lots of oat, malty and chocolate. Taste, oat, roasted malts, chocolate, some nice sugars, and an in your face ABV that is really present. One amazing Imp. Stout, oat really comes alive and gives this a really nice and thick mouthfeel. Very drinkable, with exceptional fusion of the malts, roastiness, chocolate, etc.

Bottle thanks to JB175. Pours with a small, off-white head, and a very pretty, hazy amber body with nice lacing. Aroma is very nice with pine hops, toffee and apricot. Taste is pine, and bitter throughout with a floral finish. Creamy mouthfeel with a bit of lively carbonation.

bottle - Pours black with a thin tan head. It smells of coffee and dark roasted malt. The flavor has that malt and coffee with a touch of chocolate too. The medium to full body has smooth on the palate as the name indicates and has some mild hops bitterness. It’s a solid porter, but a pricey one for what it is.

Beautiful amber color, nice perlage, big fluffy head. Very nice hoppy aroma, with toffee, with a touch of vanilla at first, more evident resins later. Good toffee flavor, quite dry mouthfeel, strong bitterness, pleasant hops but not as much as in the aroma. Very good.
