Can from Tavour. Pours translucent gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is orange - suggesting orange soda somewhat. Med body. Very orange juicy. Not dry but not really sugary. Chocolate is a light presence. Actually surprisingly drinkable.

Can: Poured a murky brown color ale with a small off-white foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet Belgian style malt with some residual sugar notes, some caramel malt and some bourbon notes. Taste is also a mix of sweet caramel malt notes with some Belgian style malt notes, some residual sugar notes and bourbon notes. Body is full with good carbonation with some warming alcohol notes. Solid BA strong Belgian ale.

Poured from 473mL can (bb Mar 12, 2034; thanks Sammy). Near black with medium tan head. Roast malt, oak underlay, smooth and almost slightly subdued, dry-ish cocoa powder underlay. No real faults, but not especially interesting. Decent.

Can. Pours a clear deep amber brown with a tan head that dissipates quickly and completely. Aroma has boozy bread and sweet grains with a bit of toffee underlying. Flavor is similar with a combination of sweet grains, toffee and a hint of booze.

Can from Brew Export Advent Calendar. Stygian. Thick frothy foamy beige head. Aroma is initially sweet and caramelly, before coffee and nuts appear. Flavourwise it has an initial berry and coffeectangy sourness. This precedes micha bitterness and watered down peanut butter. Medium bodied. Slick to creamy. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Not blowing me away - lacks balance and conviction.
