473ml can. Darkest brown colour with average, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, tan head. Sweet-ish, minimally sugary, caramel malty and minimally artificial, fruity aroma, minimally chocolately, dark malty background, notes of sweet cherry, "Fritt Kirsche", a touch of plum, almond. Taste is sweet, slightly sugary, caramel malty and slightly artificial, yeasty fruity, slightly bitter alcoholic, hints of sweet cherry and "Fritt Kirsche" again, a touch of plum, almond, weak hints of brown sugar; relatively well hidden alcohol.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, cloying palate, fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Nice and intense, though minimally artificial fruitiness; quite sweet, a tad monotonous - yes, sexy and appealing, but simultaneously off-putting as well; liquid red-light district in a way...

Bottle, 2019 vintage. Chocolate cake aroma with notes of cherry, roasted malt, vanilla and milk chocolate. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has little retention and no lacing. Starts with chocolate cake, roasted malt and milk chocolate flavors as well as having a medium body and smooth, coating mouthfeel. Finishes smooth with cherry and vanilla flavors. Still quite good.

Black with a very dark beige head. Big dark malts, unsweetened chocolate, molasses, coffee cream, booze, burnt malts, straight whiskey, and oak. Big, thick body. Finish has bittersweet cocoa, big dark and sweet malt, and plenty of booze. This lasts and lasts. This is a slow supper for sure but quite nice and equally intense.

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Opaque black color, medium sized medium dark brown colored head. Smell and taste malts, roasted malts, heavy roast tbh, roasty bitters, wood, liquor, roasty liquor bitter in the finish. Hmm a bit one sided I'd say. Slightly thin texture as well. Mwah. Had higher hopes tbh.

F- Roasted malt, char, black licorice, bitter, cocoa, mild alcohol.
T- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, robust finish.
O- A nice classic tasting RIS. A big beer but not boozy for the abv. No frills just dang good. 8oz can was perfect.
