Poured from 473mL can. Very dark brown with small beige head. Weird sweet earthy dryness - PB2 powder? There's some very feint thai chillis. Only had two sips and have some concerns about peanut despite it not being named (had a slight sensation in the back of the nose as opposed to the throat which may have been an affect of the thai chilli, but don't want to risk drinking more). Not my beer.

Can. Roasted, almost burnt toffee, caramel, roasted malts and some dark dried fruit. Boozy. A bit too boozy this one, but quite a lot of good things going on. 747414 260813

473ml can. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, average to huge, dense, creamy, slowly diminishing, minimally lacing, dark brown head. Slightly BA disguised, chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, some caramel, hints of cognac, perfumed, herbal overtones, a touch of mint. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty, slightly herbal, minimally woody, notes of dark chocolate, hints of mint, a touch of cognac, cream.
Creamy to viscous texture, smooth, soft and minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, soft carbonation.
Excellent mouthfeel, nice composition, maybe a tad too much BA dominated - enjoyable.

Pour is a murky river water brown with no head at all. Aroma is tootsie rolls with raisins. Flavor is super sweet molasses with a super sweet toffee aftertaste. It's sweet. Finish has some alcohol and tobacco. Nice to sample but way on the sweet side.

Can from Tavour. Pours translucent gold with a slight, transient white head. Lime wafts from the pour. Med body or so. Flavor is lime, vanilla, meringue. Not getting graham flour. A yeasty thing pops up after awhile. Nice drink.

Red brown with a trace soapy beige head. Boozy with toffee, fruit and an off note - no doubt due to age. Very long finish. Full bodied but undercarbonated. Not at its best - which is likely why they sold it to me at deep discount.

355ml can. Slightly cloudy, chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and small to average, frothy, diminishing, off-white to tan head. Sweet-ish and minimally toasty malty, caramel malty and yeasty fruity aroma, notes of cherry, caramel, some rock sugar, treacle, some dried fruit, raisin, date, a touch of toffee and banana. Taste is sweet, caramel malty and slightly sugary, yeasty fruity and slightly alcoholic, notes of caramel, treacle, rock sugar, cherry, some dried fruit, raisin, date, plum, a touch of banana, toffee.
Slightly viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, prickly carbonation.
Quite sweet and sugary, nice fruitiness but overall rather clean, not much depth - OK.
