Strange 8oz can? beastiefan2k snuck in some of this, and I got to drink it at room temp, and honestly, it wasn't half bad that way. Poured a cloudy orange, with a small white head. Big boozy aroma, resin, juicy.

Opaque deep brown to black with a lovely tan head. Roast & toast. Tons of real chocolate/cocoa, Never perceived it that genuine. Esters. Vinous notes. Some hop. Light sweet & bitter. Not a fan of flavoured stouts sill this one is an exception.

Can: Poured a hazy deep amber color ale with a medium size off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of deep caramelized malt notes with some vanilla and bourbon notes. Taste is also a mix of deep caramelized malt notes with light toffee, some residual sugar notes and some woody bourbon notes. Body is full with limited filtration and light warming alcohol notes are noticeable. Solid BA doppelbock and a very enjoyable nightcap.

16oz can from Tavour. Black pour with a one finger beige creamy head. Chocolaty aroma, notes of cinnamon, vanilla, graham. Taste is sweet, almost cloying, vanilla, chocolate. The sugary sweetness hides the ABV.

12oz can from Tavour. Cloudy golden pour with a fizzy head. Aroma is dill, pickle juice. Taste brings a zesty, almost spicy kick, pickles and dill. Fast finish despite the zesty bite.

Cheap can from chalet. Pop the lid for a big beefy peanut butter nose. Pour is big and black, large and in charge. Head fades to nothing immediately. First taste is burnt bitter peanut butter. That singed bitterness lingers for quite a while, whew. Yes, underneath the peanut butter flavor is some scorched coffee that supports the overall overdone attitude of this brew. Think about this: Burnt roasted peanuts mixed with coffee that sat on the burner all day mixed together in a food processor. Yea, thru the middle, this is heavy duty peanut butter and it does not hide its alky character well. Near unpleasant charred coffee finish. Very unique in the peanut beer arena. Fer Sher.

Can @ HJ Hansen, Odense. 30 quid. Pours black with a small fading head. Young Wood, Chocolate and coffee and this after eight / fazers mint Chocolate vibe. Dammn. Lacking barrel depth. Lovely series and I hoped this would be the old Boris vibe. Not quite. 3.9.
