[as Porterhouse Dublin Red] Bottiglia. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale, permanendo in maniera sufficiente.

From tap at Porterhouse, New York. Modest fruity hop aroma with bready malt, some caramel, citrus, orange. Moderate bittersweetish flavour, an alright IPA, not particularly outspoken.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Citrussy aroma with orange, light tropical including a touch of mango. Picking up a little pine as well. About medium sweet, lightly bitter. Balanced IPA, mostly citrus/orange hop.

Bottle from LCB. Clear red-brown, with small off white consistent top. Typical malt and berry like aroma for a red ale although with decent freshness. Taste has a tangy berry, a touch of metal, malts, herbal bitter finish. Mid bodied. Decent. My 10th Irish Red Ale. Still to find really good one. Highest rate 3.6

Can from lowcostbeer, consumed 3 months past BBE. Hazy dark gold with a moderate sized white head, leaves a nice top and lacing, Aroma of orange pith, citrus zest, malts and a slight pine and grassiness. Taste has a clean malt profile with citrus and melon coming through finishing with a crisp pine bitterness and light spicy aftertaste. There is a nice smoothness to this but it still feels a little thin despite the use of oats. However it is enjoyable.
