Description
Founded by Oliver Hughes & Liam Lahart, the Porterhouse Brew Co. are Ireland's pioneers of craft beer. Opening Ireland's first brewpub in the heart of Dublin, Temple Bar. Nowadays with a chain of successful bars in Dublin, London and New York the company is now producing from a state of the art brewery located in Glasnevin, Dublin. The expansion to the 120 barrel brewing facility in 2017 helps service our own bars but provides quality beer outside of the bars to consumers throughout Ireland while exporting to over 20 markets globally. The Porterhouse Brew Co. is proud to be a fully run independent brewery with a focus on consistency, quality and innovation.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Light citrus aroma. Citrus and light summer fruit favor. Medium bodied. Decent bitterness. Citrus and light summer fruit linger.

Tap at Porterhouse, Temple, Dublin. Almost black color with beige head. Aroma of chocolate, Dark malt, roasted malt. Taste is chocolate, coffee late, light sweetness, surprisingly moderate citrus hoppy bittterness. Nice.

Tap at Porterhouse, Temple, Dublin. Almost black colored beer with medium beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, light caramel. Taste is chocolate, coffee, late, light caramel. Nice.

Tap at Porterhouse, Temple, Dublin. Hazy yellow orange color wirh white head. Aroma and Taste are hop centered with tropical fruits, oranges, grapefruit, zest. Long hoppy bitter finish.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, small head. Woody licorice and earth up front. Mid sweet with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Coffeem licorice and woody whiskey. Warming mid bitter finish. Solid and warming.
