Glass at a restaurant in Merano. Not Forst itself, they were pretty rude and never came to the tables at the street so we had to give up. Clear dark brown beer with a respectable lasting head. Nutty malty nose, pretty sweet, not too complex flavor. Decent bitterness at the end to partly balance the sweetness.

Forst 0,0. Drunk at a Gasthaus overlooking a waterfall in Südtirol. Spicy hop-extract and grainy wort nose. Pale straw clear with a funky wobbly head. Tastes less sweet than expected, probably due to pretty massive (for an alkfrei) earthy hop bitterness. Feels like a fight between malty and hoppy, no integration here. 5/2/5/3/8

Keg at Fun, Cool, Oh! in Bologna, April 2018. Pours clear straw yellow with a wahite cap. Aroma dominated by malt with some hoppy notes. Taste is delicate and slightly sweet, well balanced between malts and hops.
