Bottle: Pale golden with a greenish sheen, rather small and rapidly collapsing white foam; dry grainy-grassy nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; light dry grainy-dusty finish with a certain amount of bitterness. Not completely bad, but quite boring.............

Bottle. Clear, ruby-amber coloured, visible carbonation, firm creamy tanned head. Sweet wine, toasted/roasted malt and a tinge of alcohol in the nose. Moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied. Drier bitter-sweet finish with influences of brandy, sweet fruits and chocolate. Good, well balanced and well rounded Doppelbock................

[33cl bottle] Clear, dark amber colour with a thick beige foamy head. Molassy sweet malty aroma with strong notes of caramel, reminding me of Bavarian Blockmalz, accompanied by notes of sugar beet. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a soft carbonation. Solid, slightly roasted malty taste with distinctive notes of barley and draff, accompanied by shy herbal hops. Sweet and strong malty finish with a lasting, minimal prune-fruity aftertaste and a light but balancing hops character. [11.XII.08].

Ok, Finnish state owned railway company buys Italian bullet trains. Next, they introduce Italian style restaurant into these trains. And at the restaurant, you can buy an Italian premium lager. And what it is: very pale, light nose with sweet nose, dry palate with lot of carbonation, bitter and lightly sweet taste, the total being just unpleasant experience.

Draught Pale golden beer, medium white head. Grainy nose, bit sweet, dry hay, not very present. Very sweet-malty taste, but just enough hops to counter the "too much". Good balance, strangely enough. Medium bodied, slick. I find the alcohol rather hidden, did not expect 7.5%. Not a bad beer, certainly on draught.

Small white head, fast gone, despite very lively carbonation, over bright golden beer. Perfumed, very obvious cooked corn (maize IS added here). Outspoken pilsner malt & maize. Oxydized mess, masking some malty sugars and more corn sweetness. Grist slickness, bit fizzy, empty finish. Ouch. Forst makes much better, and this ought to be a celebration beer... Ik vraag mij af waar al mijn landgenoten dit vonden, ik ben het waarempel in Toscane moeten halen, lol...

Draught: Poured a golden color with white head. The aroma is malt, but the taste to me was watery grain.

Tap. Chocolate malt with light smoky aroma. Medium brown with small head. Chocolate/brown sugar flavor with a slightly astringent grass hops finish. Nice bitter beer - pretty good - a bit light stylewise.
