14/04/2011 50cl bottle @ home - BB: 30/10/11 (2011-148) Thanks to Jois for the bottle!
Clear pale yellow beer, solid creamy head, stable and good lacing. Aroma: beer "gone bad", bit hoppy, malty, smells like the inside of a brewery (spilled beer). MF: soft carbon, not enough. Light to medium body. Taste: little sweet malty, bit of citrus and hops. Aftertaste: some more citric, bit of bitter hops, but not very much.

On tap at the Eataly store, Bologna, Italia, 25.02.11 This was quite sweet, there were some nice tobacco touches and even a little smokiness noted. Poured chestnut in colour with a white head. Light carbonation, touch of banana and toffee. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

On tap at the Eataly store, Bologna, Italia, 25.02.11 Pours warm gold/light amber medium carbonation. This was soft in the mouth, lagery malts showing. Bit of dryness and citrus and whilst absolutely fine there isn’t an awful lot more going on here. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

This is Premium’s bigger sister, and similarly to her this is not the usual lager. 660ml glass bottle - Should be tasted very cold (suggested temperature is 7°C). Aroma is earthy, very strong maize presence, spiced bread. Appears bright gold, frothy head. Medium bitterness, little salty, medium body, thin feel, average carbonation, a little astringent and bitter finish, alcohol already. I consider in rating this that i enjoyed this a lot on tap at brewery’s pub, completely different (and much better) taste. It was delightful after a day walking in nearby hills.

The bottle looks simple, but good. The beer in the glass is quite zippy, small head. Starts mild, modest hoppy-dry, then also more and more malty, a bit moldy. Finish still mild, a bit wheaty, all in all quite drinkable and not bad.

11.2 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a very pale yellow with a thin creamy head that fades quickly. A ghastly skunkiness protrudes far from this one. Otherwise the aroma is sweet grains and grass. The taste is about as damn close to tasteless as you can get. Literally, this seems like overcarbonated seltzer water. Extremely faint grain and grass is in there, but its really easy to miss it. Thin, watery, very strong carbonation. Very poor beer.

0.66 bottle, 4.8%, 0.89€. This is a very particular beer, completely different in taste to other industrial brews. Must be tasted at 7-8 °C, too cold will kill flavour, too warm will make it dull. Quiet flowery nose. Pours clear pale gold with creamy white head which lasts until the end of glass., medium carbonation. Aroma is mostly cornflakes, very strong taste of corn, some barley and cookies, and there’s a feel of floral & honey. Hop presence very light, sweet and smooth body, finish feel is somewhat sticky. Complete opposite to standard dry lagers. Not the best in the category, but it has it’s character. Less tasteful of Kronen, but still top level Italian (or, watta hell, Tiroler...) industrial production.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw as well as lighter notes of metal, leading to a dry, bitter, and strawy finish.
