750 ml bottle from brewery. Batch #004. Bright brassy gold pour. Large rocky white head. Rustic farmhouse aroma fills the room. Flavor is tart and funky. Barnyard vibes start with yeasty overtones and earthy malt. A shot of spicy hops adds another element to the complex palate. Preserved lemons, caper berries, olive brine, grape must, spicy hops. Certainly complex. Willfully intense.

750mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is full of oak, plenty of acidity, and some bugs. Flavour is oaky, with lots of wild funk, plenty of acidity, and a touch of phenols which become more prominent with each sip. A little off.

Bottle from source: pours golden with continuously erupting frothy head. Aroma is lightly funky, candi sugar, general fruitiness. Somewhat tart, sweetish, fruity. Solid.

Draught at source: pours reddish gold with small head. Aroma is winy, funky, wood. Taste is complex notes of grape, yeast and tree. Lightly sour. Some acidity. Nice.

750 ml bottle from brewery. Batch #005. Bright honey gold pour. Creamy beige cap. Earthy malt aroma with a dose of funky yeast. Notes of citrus and hay. Mild fruity flavors of lemon, tangerine, apricot and green apple. Soft and pleasant. Amazingly drinkable. Finishes dry with herbal hops. Delicious.
