Brewery draught, 7/26/25.
Very fruity, very juicy, not boozey or sweet. Honey-like malt.
Sweeter than the nose let's on, augmented by the Motueka fruit salad character. Soft, juicy citrus with sweet honey character from malt. It's not excessive but it needs a bit more attenuation. Pretty good bitterness.

Brewery draught, 7/26/25.
Juicy and with some light white grape and slightly unripe tropical fruit. Cracker and white bread hops with mango and oj on the end.
Juicy and fruity with a zippy bitterness. Ripe tropical fruit and softer malts though with light biscuit in the end. Mild mineral. Sort of underwhelmed by these Rakau but the beer is brewed well.

Brewery draught, 7/26/25.
As pictured.
Not super aromatic but it's very cold and what's there is lovely. Light citrus, lemongrass and mild herb. Stone fruit and sparse, cracker like malts. Clean.
Juicy with citrus, white grape and round, easygoing tropical fruits. Soft texture, medium-light body, maybe a bit watery, with white bread-like malt. Clean, no resin, and good attenuation.

Canned 4/2/25, drunk 7/17/25.
Dark, clear. Large, well-retained, creamy, dark beige head.
Tobacco indeed, with light chocolate, light char and beautiful noble hoppiness. Clean and malty without too much dark malt character.
Bright, rich, malty, lightly hoppy. Light tobacco and light coffee, but like the nose, not too heavy on the dark malts. Good base malt contributing a caramel character as it mixes with the darker malts. Clean and well-attenuated. Maybe just a shade lighter-bodied than I'd like? I mean, it is only 4.6%, but the bar is pretty high these days on the amount of flavor and body lighter lagers have.

Pours murky gold into a tulip. White head with little retention recedes to mottle surface. Earthy sourdough, papaya and guava aromas. Thick with sweet papaya, passion fruit and hot caramel front to back. Lasting, sweet golden syrup finish. Becomes cloyingly sweet as it warms.

Canned 6/10/25, drunk 7/16/25.
Clear, pale brass-golden. Big, fluffy, well-retained, white head.
Smells great. Tons of hop character adding fresh herb, freshly cut grass and a fruity yeast behind it that isn't the typical Americanized "Let 'er rip" approach. Stone fruit, honey, biscuit and light black pepper with light mineral. Clean.
Soft and malty with honey and biscuit. White and black pepper with moderate stone fruit character. Good attenuation and body. Fresh, herbal hopping. Baguette, pepper, hints of clove lingering. Very impressive classic and difficult style done well here.

Can. Just a mild haze on this gold beer, small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, a good fine minerally crisp snap. Light bodied pale malts, a light but forward creamy sweetness. Crisp cooling pine into light bright citrus. Hop spice starting to nip. Cantaloupe led tropical fruits as an undertone. Light crisp finish. Bright and breezy dipa with a very nice hop fruits profile.
