Description
Conceived as a ‘nomadic’ project, The Beak has spent several years creating unfiltered, seasonally-inspired beer with friends at some the greatest UK breweries, including North Brew Co, Partizan, Beavertown, Burning Sky and Northern Monk. We've now laid roots in our hometown of Lewes in East Sussex, where we've built a 15-BBL neighbourhood brewery and taproom with a mixed-fermentation project and weekend street food canteen. Please come and say hi!

Takeaway can from From Beer To Eternity, Havant. Dark with a brown tint. Thin foamy beige head. Aroma has coffee and berries with a nutty element. Bitter (coffee, liqourice) with a light berry streak over a creamy and nutty base. Light-medium bodied. Slick to oily. Soft-average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Definitely no trad mild but good stuff.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A mild haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy but, thin and semi dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Soft cooling pine into pleasant stone fruits and citrus, reasonably bright and, reasonably juicy, all just a tad lightweight. Light finish. It's alright but feels like the beer before Charles Atlas got hold of it.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A mild haze on this gold beer, small bubbly off white head. Light palate, a mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation. Light pale malts, bordering thin but, a nice light creamy sweetness. Hops are bright, fruity and juicy. Light cooling pine, tangerine, mandarin and a little lime. Touch of spice and a bare whisper of skunk. Light crisp finish. Loved the bright fruitiness of this one.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A moderate haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Airy pale malts, a nice light creamy sweetness. The hop delivery brings out a delightfully bright juicy and, slightly tangy stone fruits goodness. Touch of lime and, even a little sherbet. Some hop spice nip on the semi dry finish as well as, a light savoury skunk. Super duper all rounder dipa.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Just a light haze on this gold beer, small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Thin bodied palate, a little dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied pale malts, a light but pleasant creamy sweetness. Krush hops dominate with their splendid stone fruit and lesser mango-led tropical vibe. Light cooling pine throughout and a little hop spice on the semi dry finish. Palate is meh, hop delivery is whooo.

Can. A modest haze on this slightly yellowish gold beer, small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, a little dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied pale malts, smooth though and, sweet enough. Crisp cooling pine and a hop spice nibble. A light tangy Strata passion fruit on the fore. A back fill of generic hop fruits that are hard to pull apart but, pleasing in their layered presentation. Crisp finish brings a little more hop spice. Good dipa, never threatened to be top drawer for me.
