Description
Against The Grain ciders are crafted to be easy drinking but with all of the subtle complexities afforded by soft tannins, excellent blending and high quality fruit. Our aim is to tempt more curious drinkers into the wonderful world of craft cider. Although a few of our creations will be a bit ‘out there’ for some drinkers, for others it might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.
In terms of our apples, we use the best fruit we can source and where we can’t source local apples to fit our needs, we work with exceptional partner orchards to help us find what we’re looking for. We never use concentrates.
We strongly believe in implementing Green business strategies to work toward a more sustainable future. Our apple mulch is passed to farms to be used as feed and our packaging for home deliveries reuses old packaging goods - so as little as possible is wasted.

440ml can courtesy of Against the Grain. Many thanks to Jono for finding & adding the last can of this they had to hand for my order. Pours a clear pale yellow colour, white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of apple, funk, white wine hints. Taste is apple, caramel, some oaky notes, white wine and light acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry oaky finish. Quite drinkable.

440ml can, thanks to Danlo for this! Misty yellow appearance, aroma of green apple. Taste presents prominent floral green apple, with a sour acidity, apple skins, a little citrussy, moderately sweet with a drying close. Has a Kentish cider feel about it. Not bad.
