Bottle. It pours an unclear pale yellow-golden body and a dense, finger-thick off-white head. Nice curtains. The aroma is of the fruity kind, with some spiced hints. Some bready pale malts, lemon zest and even some banana. It's quite effervescent on the palate, dry, yet with some residual sweetness. Medium body, and a touch of bitterness. Pale malts in the back of the flavor, with hints of grass, some lemon zest, generic fruityness and a spiced hint. Fruity finish with some coriander. Refreshing and quite tasteful. 240616

Bottle. A hazy golden colored beer topped by a dense, finger-thick off-white head leaving lacing. The aroma is fruity and lightly malty, with pine cones, grass and some peppery hints. Bread and hints of hay. It's medium bodied and quite smooth on the palate, semi-sweet, with a gentle carbonation. Fruity flavor too, with pale malts as a backdrop. Grassy, piney and lightly peppery, with bread hints. Medium length finish. A decent pilsner indeed. 240616

0,5 flaske fra Helgø Meny Hundvåg, hjemme: nesten helt klar kobbergylden med utmerket skum som holder følge til bunns, god maltsmak og deilig krydret bitterhet med en fin dæsj furunål og citrus. En smule overkarbonert.

500 ml bottle, batch #275, from Helgø Meny Hundvåg. ABV is 4.7%. Deep golden colour, large white head. Pleasant aroma of floral and spicy Saaz hops, hints of caramel and honey. Citric mouthfeel. Flavour of decent hops throughout, on a sufficient malty background. Good bitterness, a hint of resin.

500 ml bottle, batch #264, from Helgø Meny Hundvåg. ABV is 4.7%. Also available at Cardinal, Stavanger. Slightly hazy golden colour, large white head. Moderate aroma of Belgian ale yeast, mild spices and dried fruits. Only a hint of honey. The flavour has the same elements, not too sweet, quite yeasty.
