Bottle from Gulating 4,5% edition. Clear deep golden to amber body with a medium sized tan head. A bit weak in aroma, malt and hint of toffee. Taste is quite smooth, mostly malty with a touch of toffee and some kind of general fruitiness in the background. Moderate bitterness. Quite balanced body for a 4.5% beer and same smooth malty aftertaste. Nothing complex really and not particular interesting but it was a decent match with food.

Thnak you Cunningham for the bottle - Hazy deep golden with a white head - Malt aroma with some hints of hops - Malt body with some hints of hops - Hops goes into the finish with just hints of bitterness - This was ok

Bottle. Almost clear amber body with a big tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, nutshell and pine. Flavor is medium sweet, harsh caramel and hint of bread. Thin bodied and short in aftertaste. Nothing exiting going on, pretty one-dimensional and a bit unbalanced as well.

Igjen er vi samlet til godt RBHD-lag på Tau hos seremonimester Melberg, og etter den innledende spanske cider har vi nå flyttet oss over i det rette element. 0,5 flaske: klar, brunlig kobber nesten uten skum (ikke så rart, ettersom den var åpnet på Haukelid tre dager tidligere og deretter provisorisk korket). God maltkropp, og smaksprofilen er dominert av kryddderurer, furunål og engelsk appelsinmarmelade. Fin, mørk bitterhet med syrlig ettersmak.

Bottle. An unclear reddish brown beer with a finger-thick light beige head. Bread, something sourish, dried fruits and caramel, with hints of chocolate in the aroma. A bit gentle I think, both aroma and flavor. It's medium bodied, semi-dry and a bit low on carbonation, with flavors of bread, caramel, dark dried fruits and some chocolate. Medium length finish. A rather uninteresting one, failing to be anything Christmas-ish. 190709
