500 ml bottle, batch #228, from Nærbutikken, Åkrafjordtunet. ABV is 4.7%. Moderately hazy golden brown colour, moderate white head. Aroma of yeast, malts and red berries. The flavour is definitely too yeasty, tastes like the first time homebrew that the brewer tries to forget. Some malts, but the beer is not sweet. There are some hops too, but they kind of disappear in all the yeastiness.

Bottle bought and enjoyed at Groven Camping, Åmot. Pours hazy light amber with off-white head. Aroma of pine needles, herbs. Tastes bitter with little sweetness. Thin bodied, dry and bitter finish. Surprisingly bitter for a pale ale.

50cl bottle (#101) from Meny Tuven, Notodden. Pours hazy amber with a large, dense, off-white head. Malty and somewhat fruity aroma with hints of citrus and herbs. Medium sweet and surprisingly malty, but with a quite balanced bitterness. Quite enjoyable after a hike in the mountains, but I would think even more enjoyable with food.

Bottle from Gulating 4,5% edition. Clear deep golden to amber body with a medium sized tan head. A bit weak in aroma, malt and hint of toffee. Taste is quite smooth, mostly malty with a touch of toffee and some kind of general fruitiness in the background. Moderate bitterness. Quite balanced body for a 4.5% beer and same smooth malty aftertaste. Nothing complex really and not particular interesting but it was a decent match with food.
