Bottle. A hazy amber colored beer with a small beige head. Quite sour aroma, milkysour, with hints of lemon, sour smoke and some dried fruit. Watery mouthfeel, dry and sour, with little carbonation. Sour flavor too, several shades of sour, with some dried fruits and caramel malts. Sour and fruity finish. Sour off this one, hopefully only this bottle. 181223

Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 20.12.18. Cloudy dark orange amber. Beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, toffee, biscuits and gastric acid. Similar taste, with an aftertaste of ready salted crisps and sour malt.

Another beer gift from Cunningham, many thanks. Batch #29. Loose white head over a warm golden body with a slight haze. Spotty lacing. Quite inviting floral nose. Moderate taste profile of bread, ripe fruits and a discreet backdrop of citrus peels. Medium bodied. Quite alright. (Shared with Finn, hotel room, Oslo 04.12.2018).

Flaske - #29 - spandert av Cunningham. Imponerende innsats fra ham at Tromsøværingene på tur til Tigerstaden fikk denne i hende. STOR TAKK. Rune & Finn delte denne på rom 911, Hotell Munch Oslo. Varm gylden. Filmskum med litt farge. Lett fruktaroma. Smaken ananas & appelsin. Lett tørr avslutning.

Hmmm American pale ale they say. Why not use some more hop then folks. This beer had the opportunity, but did not take it. Mostly caramel malty, herbal grassy and some hoppy notes. Also a to high carbonation level. Fizzy mouth feeling. Sorry. This one is nothing I will recommend. Surely drinkable. But just a normal dull caramel ale, and a to high carbonation level. Get back to the lab lads.

Mama mia. Beware when you open this. Poooof it almost reached the roof. Gusher o hoi mate. The remaining beer was a bit hazed golden. Quite moderate intensity in the aroma. Not really hoppy as they claim. Rich carbonation level, but calmed down after a while. Possible to drink the remaining beer. Quite fruity this one. Also quite malty. Claimed to be dry hopped. Nothing I noticed to much. Could have been ok with a decent carbonation level.
