Can. A clear deep golden colored beer with a dense finger-thick off-white to beige head. Some lacing. The aroma has a nice breadyness, some dark dried fruit and a roasted touch. Caramel hints. It's medium bodied and nicely carbonated, semi-dry and with a gentle bitterness. Caramel, toffee, dark bread crust and some dark dried fruit in the flavor. Medium length finish. Far from the most exciting brew from Disko, but it's a well brewed beer indeed. 241226

Can. A lightly hazy brown beer with a small beige head. The aroma is of the malty kind, with toffee, dark bread crust and some dark dried fruit. It's full bodied and lightly warming, semi-dry, with a gentle carbonation. Some bitterness. The flavor is pretty similar, mostly on the malty lager side, with dark bread crust, toffee and dark dried fruit, some light fruityness and a hint of alcohol. Lasting malty finish. A well brewed beer indeed, but a bit too much on the malty side for me. 241223

440ml can, #254, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pour an airy pearl white head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Next-to-clear orange-brownish body. Inviting malt-fruity aromas, dried fruits and brown malts. Mid-sweet, blended taste of apricot, dark fruits, and caramel malts, distant notes of spices. Ends with caramel malts and dried fruits, not overly sweet, noticeable alcohol. Quite alright. (Tromsø, 21.12.2024).
