330ml can, #1000, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Hazy brownish body, clingy lacing from an off-white head. Promising aromas of dried fruits and caramel malts. Blended malt-fruity flavours with hints of caramel and raisin, lightly spiced. Mid-sweet malt-fruity tail. Medium bodied. Decent. (Tromsø, 15.12.2024).

Fra den innholdsrike luke 2/24, direkte fra julenissen på Kvaddå: uklar solgylden med fint skum som varer. Saftig og lekkert anslag med generøse mengder av julens appelsiner, balanserende innslag av furunål/granskudd, og et delikat streif av honning. Silkemyk maltkropp og lang, saftig avslutning med fint kalibrert bitterhet. Mye mersmak her, og virkningen er helt upåklagelig.

Can. A hazy yellow-orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is fruity and piney, lightly resiny, with a very light malty touch. Some alcohol and hints of grass. It’s full-bodied and lightly warming, nicely carbonated and semi-sweet, with a good bitterness. Piney, grapefruity flavor too, some alcohol and pale malts. Lasting hop driven finish. Can. An unclear dark brown beer with a small beige head. The aroma has coffee and roasted malts, some alcohol and a lactose-like touch. Toffee and some booze. It’s full-bodied and warming, nicely carbonated, perhaps a bit sweet. Roasted malts, coffee notes, dark chocolate, toffee and a touch of booze. Hints of oak. Lasting finish. A bit sweet, but sure nice this one. 241130
